This is an avocation that began with me wanting to preserve my own LP's and after acquiring necessary equipment and trial and error I was able to produce a very good product and distributed copies of CD's I had made to family and friends. Soon after I began reproducing vinyl (analog) to CD (digital) for other friends from their LP's. The process I use begins with a careful cleaning of the LP's and ends with copying the Covers and liner notes the best I can to fit in the CD case. The actual recording from LP to CD is simply a quality reproduction. The cleaning process takes away dirt and dust that cause distraction from the music. If a record has a physical (audible) scratch the CD will reflect that also. I have tried using software to eliminate these audible scratches but they also decrease the actual sound quality.
I entered the world of video reproduction in a similar manner as I did for my old LPs and was amazed at the results from my own home movies from decades ago. We produce high quality DVDs from your

Many of your old records, audio cassette tapes and commercial VHS tapes are probably available thru re-releases on CD's or DVDs and you should check online for these before having your LP's converted to CD's.
I do understand copywrite issues, however, I also believe that to transfer music, film, art, etc to a current media standard for personal use and preservation is a nobler cause than allowing these works to go unused or reach the end of their usable life, so, save them while you still can!

Slideshows in pretty much the same way as the other products and have found it to be personally rewarding assembling old and new family photos with accompaying music for some very happy customers for weddings photos, special anniversaries, memorials and other special occassions. For these I enjoy working with and interacting with the customers to assure that the feel of the production is genuine.
